West Virginia Mountaineers Gain Tight End Commitment from TE Gregory Genross

West Virginia Mountaineers have secured another promising addition to their tight end roster. JUCO All-American Gregory Genross from Dodge City Community College announced his commitment to the program following a successful official visit over the weekend.

The West Virginia coaching staff, in search of tight end reinforcements, welcomed Genross to their team. The decision comes after Genross, who previously committed to Arkansas, chose West Virginia over a range of other offers, including those from Colorado, Houston, Marshall, Mississippi State, and several more.

During his time at Dodge City, Genross showcased his skills, tallying 26 receptions for 265 yards and three touchdowns over two seasons, with an average of 10.2 yards per catch. Known for his 6’7″ frame and impressive wingspan, Genross brings a massive catch radius to the team. His athleticism and willingness to block, combined with a competitive edge, add to his value as a player.

With two years of eligibility remaining, Genross joins the Mountaineers’ lineup, bringing his talent, size, and competitive spirit to further strengthen the team’s tight end position.
